It is operated and developed by the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), Aboitiz Land and the Mactan Cebu International Airport Authority. MEZ2 locators are mostly in the electronics, automotive supplies, medical equipments, hobby, Business Process Outsourcing, home furnishings and garments industries. Majority of MEZ2 locators are from Japan but also host a good mix of US, European and Taiwanese companies.

Lastly, the Cebu Light Industrial Park, located also in Brgy. Basak, Lapu-lapu City, with an area of 70 Hectares. It is operated and develop by Philippine Economic  Zone Authority (PEZA), Science Park of the Philippines Inc. and Cebu Industrial Park and Development Inc. SPPI’s industrial estates provide a work place under a well-managed environment for light to medium industries with clean and non-polluting, environment-friendly manufacturing operations as well as support industries.
