The Compliance Monitoring Report is the module 5 of the Self Monitoring Report and is submitted to the DENR semi-annually. It is also in accordance with the DENR Administrative Order (DAO) no. 27 series of 2003 or the “Amending DAO 26, DAO 29 and DAO 2000-81 among others on the preparation and Submission of Self-Monitoring Report (SMR)”, and its Procedural Manual.
Compliance Monitoring and Impact Monitoring are among the reports included. The Compliance Monitoring comprises mainly with the compliance of the company with the stated conditions in the ECC and with the company’s Environmental Management Plan. Impact Monitoring on the other hand includes company’s compliance with the set standards with regards to air emissions and water effluents.
The said report will be one of the basis of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (ECC) on the status of a certain business , its environmental compliance as against to what was declared in the Environmental Management Plan and Monitoring System. Details and evidences are showed on the said report such as the Results of Laboratory Analysis which shows the actual wastewater discharge characteristics in terms of Biological Oxygen Demand, Chemical Oxygen Demand, Total Suspended Solids and Color and mitigating measures done by a certain business like planting of trees and disposal of waste through treaters.
